The Gauteng P2P team is now on full strength after everyone arrived here in Kempton Park by Saturday the 12th We have a great team with a good mix as far as ages, gender and talents are concerned. The team is made up of the following members (in order of arrival J ) :
Bro. Adrian Maycock (Aus); Sis Julie Maycock (Aus) Samantha Maycock (Aus) ; Bro. Roly Johns (Aus);  Bro. Richard Benson (UK); Bro. Steve Egginton (Aus); Sis Donna-May Egginton (Aus); Yoni Egginton (Aus); Bro. Andrew Russell (Aus); Sis Sue Russell (Aus); Bro. Hendri Viljoen, Sis Liezl Scheepers, Llewellyn Scheepers, Sis Leona Scheepers , Bro. Lucas Scheepers.
Most of the team were already busy on Saturday with sorting clothing and stationary and taking an orientation tour of Tembisa. We were blessed to also have sister Rachel Price visit and help us for the weekend J
By 21:00 Saturday night all had arrived at their different places of accommodation and were well settled in.  Sunday was the first busy day. The Maycock family handled the Sunday School at Aphiwe and then everyone was off to the KMP meeting.
We continued our fellowship with a great lunch at Bro. Stephen and sister Tracey Blewetts home. Then it was off to Pretoria Central for a meeting with the Congolese Brethren and sisters.
Monday was our first "official" P2P program day. The team met at Aphiwe Community centre for a thorough briefing regarding the program and what objectives and challenges lied ahead. It was really special to also have Dan and Leah (and baby Josiah!) with us for the day.
After the meeting various places in Tembisa was visited for the purpose of assessing the scope opf work that needed to be done at various crèches and welfare facilities. The team also visited the Kiosk BEC at the Birchleig North Shopping Mall.
A late lunch was thoroughly enjoyed by all at 3pm! Last activity for the day was shopping for the feeding scheme for the ladies and repairing of some Jungle gym equipment for the men.
